Another year under our belt! 2011 was a great for us and 2012 already has a lot of great things in store.
(Spoiler Alert: The family is growing!)
As it should be at this time of the year, we’d like to take a second to sit back and simply say thank you. Our customers, our supporters, the talented people we’re fortunate to work with, and last but not least our family and friends.
Wish everyone out there in the inter-webs, a Merry Christmas and the very best for the New Year!

See you in 2012! Hope you’re ready for us!

Think Outside
July 15th, 2011
Getting close to breaking some records… almost two months without a solid blog post. However, it’s not because we’re not busy. In fact, quite the contrary. It’s crazy to think that summer is half over. And if we still had summer vacations off from school, it would be near depressing to think about.
So what exactly have we been doing? Well, lots of stuff. So much stuff that at the moment, this blog update really doesn’t belong in today’s schedule. But we’re making the time anyway! Let’s start back a few months ago and try to remember everything we’ve done.

Another month has come and gone, and man have we been busy! So we’re here to catch you up to speed on our most recent project. We met with Cloister Wash & Lube back in early March to discuss how video could be used to help the roll out of their new pricing tier for washes.
Unanimously, we agreed that a campaign pushing the affordable $7.54 wash was the way to go. We decided to start with six simple spots showcasing why its a good idea to stop putting off getting your car washed, especially when it will only cost you eight bucks. The spots range from entertaining your kids to the ever-unsightly bug meets windshield.

The past month we’ve been pretty swamped so keeping up with blog posts on the website just haven’t been happening. Hopefully you’ve been following us on Twitter though because we’ve been snapping away behind the scenes photos while on set.
For the past four weeks, we’ve been traveling to New York two days a week to shoot some web testimonials. And what’s a visit to New York unless you’ve got an awesome skyline photos. So here’s one of my favorite shots from visiting the Big Apple. Click to see the pretty picture!

A few weeks ago, we were approached by our good friend (and our web designer), James Taylor, to see if we were interested in being interviewed. The thought was to get some insight about the company, what we do and what we’ve been up to recently. After much resistance and standing our ground, we finally caved in.
We’re honored to be one of the featured articles on his blog. If you’ve ever wondered what makes us tick or wanted to catch up on the latest Shufflebox gossip, here’s your chance!

Read our answers over on JT’s blog or feel free to check out theJTsite.com to learn more.

Please allow us to backtrack. If you haven’t already caught it, we recently helped Immix Wireless kick start 2011 with a brand new (and totally sweet) animated commercial. Go watch it here!

A screen from Immix’s sweet new spot.
Immix really let us run with some creative liberties on the approach to this commercial. In the end, that creative freedom gave way to produce a final product that truly does them and all of their cellular services justice. For more information on Immix Wireless, check out their website.

February is going out with a bang this year. Mark your calendars because tomorrow (Yes! Tomorrow!) marks the first day of production on “Foul Hook’d”. The first episode will premiere on the Sportsman Channel on March 28th, 2011. Shufflebox is on-board shoot the series with Eladio Productions. What is Foul Hook’d exactly? Well, it’s a 30 minute docu-comedy about four bone-heads trying to produce a low budget fishing show. Bonus points: it takes place in good ole Pennsylvania with plenty of local references.

So even if fishing isn’t your thing, I highly recommend that you tune in. More details as it gets closer to the air date but in the mean time check out Foul Hook’d on Facebook for more information and the original pilot episode.
Make sure to follow us on Twitter for the next 3 months to see behind-the-scenes of the show during production!

It’s past the midway mark for February and we promised you some news. So here it is:

This awesome purple dude is part of our latest creation that we’ve been hard at work on since the beginning of the month. He should be hitting the airwaves sometime next week as well as making his stunning internet debut right here. So if you’re not getting Comcast in your area… make sure you check back or follow us on Twitter to catch our newest 30 second commercial.

On the surface, it would appear that we’ve been neglecting the blog this month. I would agree with you! Updating the website has had to take a slight backseat for the past few weeks. We’ve been hard at work on those GNC videos and I’m proud to say we’re nearing the final stretch. Ultimately, there’s going to be a little over 30 videos that will be pushed on their website, Youtube, and Facebook. Everything from interviews, workout tips, to some sweet heavy metal-infused montages. Everybody loves a montage.

There’s plenty of more muscly-goodness where this guy came from. As soon as the videos go live, expect to see some of them up here on the website. In the mean time, you can head on over and check out some of our two newest projects for Who’s Who Lehigh Valley and the Morning Call.
February is going to be a big month for Shufflebox. Make sure you check back here for details!

That’s right. I said it. We’re back and … realistically, the same as we were a few weeks ago. Ah, but what a couple of weeks! We were out in Pittsburgh working with TrueAction and their client, GNC. TrueAction is putting together a series of web videos to highlight a new product line that GNC is pushing – and Shufflebox is right at the front lines of that project. At some point, there’s going to be photos from the trip. Though, if you’re waiting for them… it’s not going to be any time soon.
I say that, because honestly, there’s a whole slew of projects that we’ve been hard at work since we got back from Pittsburgh. Feast your eyes on this colorful collage of super awesome samplings of things Shufflebox has been doing. [Say that three times fast] They’ll hit the portfolio eventually, but let’s face it; we we’re long overdue for a blog update.

Did I mention recently that we’re on Twitter? So hop on over and see what we’re up to. If you’re lucky you may catch a few shots of us on location, behind the scenes of shoots, awesome sword videos or even screen shots of some work in progress.
