Making Time to Blog

July 15th, 2011

Getting close to breaking some records… almost two months without a solid blog post. However, it’s not because we’re not busy. In fact, quite the contrary. It’s crazy to think that summer is half over. And if we still had summer vacations off from school, it would be near depressing to think about.

So what exactly have we been doing? Well, lots of stuff. So much stuff that at the moment, this blog update really doesn’t belong in today’s schedule. But we’re making the time anyway! Let’s start back a few months ago and try to remember everything we’ve done.

Back in March, we were working with Maxfilms on some video projects for Havahart’s products, which included their Deer/Woodland Animal Repellent as well as the the Slug and Snail Killer. There were four videos in total, but below are just two of our favorite screen grabs from the job.

Then we were approached again by Maxfilms to help put together the graphic opening for the Reading Chamber’s Annual Event, this year entitled “It’s a Juggle Out There”. Combined with the video production that Maxfilms produced for the event, everything was a huge success. Can’t wait to see what the Chamber does for next year!

June kicked off with a commercial production for Lehigh Fuels. The spot has hit the airwaves and can be seen throughout the Lehigh Valley but below is a screen grab from the commercial.

Then, not even a week later, we had the chance to work with our friends at 401! Creative again on a web video for one of their clients. When that project goes public, we’ll be sure to post it here. In the mean time, see if you can guess whom it’s for.

And somewhere in that blur of a few months, Rodale approached us about creating a video montage for their International Conference that would be held in Spain. The video clocked in around two and a half minutes and features a ton of facts about Rodale’s brand; including Runner’s World, Women’s Health and Prevention Magazine. Especially interesting to see was how they’ve moved beyond the print page and have adapted their brand to take full advantage of the ever-evolving digital media.

So, I promise Shufflebox has not been slacking off this whole time! This is only part of what we’ve been up to as well. So many projects didn’t make the blog. Including a web-based cooking show with MR Productions, a series of web videos with JT Design, and countless weeks of shooting in NYC. Not to mention all things that are coming up; like a music video-esque commercial in New York, a new commercial campaign for our friends at Immix and much more.

We’ve been so busy that we’ve actually missed our 1 Year Anniversary. So, while late is better than never, we’re proud to say that we’ve been kicking strong for well over 12 months now and have a lot of great work and relationships to show for it. Shufflebox wouldn’t achieve too much of anything without our clients. So we’d like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking a chance and thinking outside! Cheers!
